FAQ

Can I buy tickets at the gate?

Tickets are available at the gate box office. Booking online is advised so that Outdoor Cinema have the ability to contact you should there be a change to your movie time due to weather. Tickets at the gate may not match online prices, so booking online is recommended.

What time does the box office and cinema gates open?

The onsite box office opens 1 hour prior to screening.

Gates to the cinema open at 5pm for the early session time.

Gates open for the second evening session approximately 20 minutes before the movie start time. Attendees for the second screening time are advised to arrive with enough time to attend the box office to arrange ticketing.

If I buy my ticket online, do I need to print my ticket out and bring it with me?

When you book online, no physical ticket is sent out or is required to be printed. Once tickets are bought online, the reservation is made in the Outdoor Cinema booking system and attendees are able to arrive and present their name and contact number to gain admission. To speed up admission at the box office gate, attendees may wish to show the digital email receipt to assist box office staff in finding the booking quickly.

What if it rains?

If the cinema is too wet to proceed with one of our session times, Outdoor Cinema will attempt to reschedule the movie. If customers are unable to make the rescheduled movie time, customers may wish to use their ticket to attend another movie session or alternatively, refunds will be provided where screening does not go ahead due to weather.

If screening proceeds, refunds are unable to be provided. Outdoor Cinema is an outdoor event and will proceed through light drizzle but will reschedule where ongoing rain affects the ability to proceed with screening.

Is food and drink available at Outdoor Cinema?

Outdoor Cinema has a candy bar available, serving popcorn, drinks and snacks

Can I take food and drinks?

Outdoor Cinema is a picnic blanket style event. Attendees are able to bring snacks and nibblies to the movie, there is also a candy bar available serving popcorn, snacks and drinks.

Is seating provided?

Outdoor Cinema is a picnic blanket general admission event and seating is not provided. Attendees are encouraged to bring camp chairs, picnic rugs, pillows and blankets to get comfortable for the movie. There are camp chairs and inflatable couches available to rent for attendees who wish to rent a chair for the movie.

Are movie tickets refundable?

If customers are unable to make it to the movie, unfortunately tickets cannot be refunded, however our friendly box office staff would be happy to assist with swapping tickets to a different session time if possible.
